This latest improvement will enable customers who have misplaced or lost their V5C to efficiently obtain a replacement and tax their vehicle with ease.” Additionally, drivers have the option to opt-in for electronic reminders as their vehicle tax renewal date approaches.

According to the RAC, users can easily navigate the My Account features by following a few simple steps. Once an account is set up, drivers can access their driving licence details, including endorsements and penalty points, view vehicles registered under their name with tax and MOT status, manage contact preferences, set up vehicle tax reminders via email and text, and choose to discontinue receiving reminders by post.
