A Brit, Ainsley Cresswell, has been stranded in the Philippines for over a year after his passport and wallet were stolen while on holiday in May 2023. Ainsley, from Wolverhampton, had his passport, driving licence, debit card, cash, watch, and glasses stolen. He had to battle malaria and faced challenges getting a new passport, finally receiving it in July 2024. Ainsley is now hoping to return to the UK soon after a challenging ordeal.
