Bafta will review awards given to disgraced presenter Huw Edwards

Bafta is reviewing awards given to disgraced presenter Huw Edwards, including individual prizes received between 2002 and 2017. The Academy is retaining the Bafta won by the BBC for coverage of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding in 2011. Edwards, who admitted having indecent images of children, has won multiple awards, but his accolades are under review. Several institutions, including The National Eisteddfod and universities, are also reconsidering awards given to Edwards.
