Tesco Unveils Price Reductions Across Express Stores

Tesco has declared a significant change in pricing for over 200 own-brand and branded items in its Express convenience stores. The price cuts affect products like milk, bread, pasta, and coffee, with a reduction averaging more than 10% in Tesco Express outlets nationwide. This move follows a series of over 2,800 price cuts that Tesco has implemented in its stores in recent months.
In this latest initiative, customers shopping at Tesco Express stores will enjoy lower prices on several household essentials. For instance, a four-pint bottle of milk will now cost £1.45, down from £1.55, while a Tesco Toastie White Thick White Loaf is now priced at just 75p, a reduction of 10p. Greater savings can be found on products like Tesco Chicken Breast Portions (300g) and a 200g jar of Tesco Gold Instant Coffee, both reduced by 25p to £2.25.
Among the branded products receiving price cuts are Warburtons White Sliced Sandwich Rolls, now priced at just £1.20 for a six-pack after a 10p reduction, and Domestos Original Bleach 750ml, reduced to £1.19 following an 11p price cut. Tesco CEO Ken Murphy expressed the company’s dedication to providing excellent value to its customers through these price adjustments.
