S4C appoints new chief executive to ‘unite staff’ after difficult period

S4C has announced the appointment of a new chief executive to lead the Welsh language broadcaster, aiming to unite the staff after a challenging period. With a background of 25 years in journalism at ITV Cymru, he has been involved in various roles, including as a correspondent on the current affairs series, Y Byd ar Bedwar. Over the past year, Geraint Evans has also served as the acting chief executive of S4C, further preparing him for his upcoming leadership role within the organisation.
