The seven sections of the M4 which will be closed at night over the next week

Several sections of the M4 motorway in Wales are scheduled for night closures over the upcoming week due to roadworks. Although most of the works will occur overnight, certain disruptions may still impact drivers. Areas affected by these works include Sarn and Coldra, with motorists advised to allow for extra travel time. The upcoming M4 road closures that will affect drivers according to Traffic Wales are as follows:

– M4 eastbound – junction 36 Sarn: Off slip closed for maintenance work from November 3 to November 8, between 8 pm and 6 am.
– M4 eastbound – junction 45 Ynysforgan: Off slip closed for clearance work from November 3 to November 8, between 8 pm and 6 am.
– M48 eastbound – junction 2 Newhouse to junction 1 Aust: Road closed for maintenance work from November 4 to November 6, between 7 pm and 6 am, with diversions in place.
– M4 eastbound – junction 41 Pentyla/Baglan: Off slip closed for maintenance work from November 5 to November 7, between 8 pm and 6 am.
– M4 westbound – junction 24 Coldra: Off slip closed for maintenance work from November 5 to November 6, between 8 pm and 6 am.
– M48 westbound – junction 1 Aust to junction 2 Newhouse: Road closed for maintenance work from November 6 to November 8, between 7 pm and 6 am.
– M4 westbound – junction 48 Hendy: On slip closed for maintenance work from November 7 to November 8, between 8 pm and 6 am.

Additionally, the M4 eastbound from junction 28 Tredegar Park to junction 24 Coldra will undergo carriageway maintenance for structural inspections, resulting in a road closure and diversions from November 7 to November 13, between 8 pm and 6 am. Furthermore, the M4 eastbound from junction 41 Pentyla/Baglan to junction 38 Margam will be closed for maintenance work from November 8 to November 9, between 8 pm and 6 am, with diversions in place.
