An inquest has been opened into the tragic death of a four-month-old baby boy at a house in Pembrokeshire. Kali Creed Green passed away on the afternoon of October 18 at a property in Clynderwen, a small village near Narberth. Emergency services responded to a call concerning the welfare of the young child, but despite their efforts, Kali was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
The inquest into Kali’s death was initiated at County Hall in Haverfordwest by Gareth Lewis, assistant coroner for Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire. At the hearing, it was disclosed that the emergency services received a distress call about Kali at 1.46pm on October 18. Despite their best attempts, Kali was declared deceased at 2.38pm. A post-mortem examination was conducted, but the results are pending. The police have launched a comprehensive investigation into the incident.
Mr. Lewis extended his condolences to Kali’s family and friends, adjourning the inquest to April 11 of the next year. Two individuals, a 19-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man, have been arrested on suspicion of child neglect in connection with Kali’s death. They have been released on bail as the investigation continues, with the circumstances surrounding Kali’s passing currently classified as unexplained.
