The TV personality also mentioned that his mother had now reunited with his late father, whom she cherished dearly. Schofield’s father, Brian, had passed away in 2008.
In his Instagram post, Schofield expressed gratitude towards the paramedics, Treliske A&E, and Critical Care team for their exceptional care and support, referring to them as their angels. He thanked them for their love and care, which he described as a saving grace for his family during this difficult time. Schofield concluded his post with a heartfelt message, “I love you mum, forever,” accompanied by a heartbreak emoji.
In another post, Schofield shared a video of a plane flying overhead, commemorating his mother’s adventurous spirit. He described her as one of the oldest ladies to ever engage in wing walking, showcasing her adventurous side. The announcement of his mother’s passing comes after Phillip Schofield’s appearance on Channel 5’s program Cast Away, where he opened up about his departure from ITV in 2023 after revealing a secret affair with a younger male colleague.
During the show, Schofield spent ten days alone on an island off the coast of Madagascar, marking his return to television following his exit from ITV.
