Important M4 Road Closure Plans Drivers Need to Know – Wales Online
Several parts of the M4 will either be partially or fully closed this week due to roadworks. The works include maintenance and while they will mostly take place overnight some drivers may still be affected. Areas affected this week include Ynysforgan and Pyle. People are being advised to allow for extra travel time as a result of these works.
Here are all the M4 closures affecting Wales for the week starting Monday, October 14, according to Traffic Wales. We have also included some of the more significant closures due to affect the M4 in England.
In Wales:
– M4 – Both directions – J45 Ynysforgan to J46 Llangyfelach Road closed for resurfacing work between October 14 and October 18 from 8pm to 6am. Diversions are in place.
– M4 – Westbound – J37 Pyle Offslip closed for clearance work between October 13 and October 18 from 8pm to 6am.
In England:
– M4 – Eastbound – J3 to J1 Roadworks are planned with disruption: Every day between October 14 and October 18 from 10pm to 5.30am. From 11pm on October 18 to 6am on October 19. Every day between October 19 and October 22 from 10pm to 5.30am.
– M4 – Westbound – J18 Roadworks are planned with disruption: Every day between October 14 and October 18 from 9pm to 6am. From 10pm on October 18 to 6am on October 19. Every day between October 21 to October 25 from 9pm to 6am.
– M4 – Westbound – J18 to J19 Roadworks are planned with disruption: Every day between October 14 to October 18 from 9pm and 6am. From 10pm on October 18 to 6am on October 19. Every day between October 21 to October 25 from 9pm and 6am.
– M4 – Westbound – J12 Roadworks are planned from 8pm on October 14 to 6am on October 15.
– M4 – Westbound – J20 Roadworks are planned from 8pm on October 14 to 6am on October 15.
– M4 – Westbound – J21 to J23 Roadworks are planned with disruption expected every day between October 16 and October 18 from 9pm to 6am.
Drivers are advised to plan their journeys accordingly to avoid delays caused by these closures.
