A child has been transported by air ambulance to the hospital with “serious injuries” following a collision with an off-road motorcycle.
According to the police, the incident occurred shortly before 6 pm on Saturday, June 3, between the junctions of Nicander Parade and Creidiol Road in Mayhill, Swansea. The child, who was riding a bicycle at the time, was airlifted to Morriston Hospital with “serious injuries”.
Sergeant Dan Kathrens of South Wales Police expressed gratitude to the local community for their understanding during the road closure and the prompt response of emergency services. He emphasized that the ongoing issues with off-road bikes are being taken very seriously and remain a top priority in the area.
