‘I’ve lost 16lbs despite buying lunch from Tesco everyday – here’s what I eat’

A fitness coach named Hawys D has managed to lose 16lbs in just 15 weeks while purchasing her daily lunch from Tesco. In a video shared on Instagram, Hawys revealed her go-to lunchtime buys from the popular supermarket, showcasing how she continues to shed weight despite opting for pre-prepared meals.

Instead of opting for a meal deal or sandwiches, Hawys prefers pre-cooked chicken from the refrigerated aisle at Tesco. She highlighted that half a pack of this chicken provides around 30 grams of protein. To accompany the chicken, she chooses a microwavable packet of rice, specifically Ben’s Original Favourite Chicken Flavour Rice, which is approximately 170 calories for half a pack.

To increase volume and fiber in her meal to stay full, Hawys includes a packet of sweet and crisp side salad. For those wanting to add variety, she suggests opting for a pack of veggies that can be quickly heated in the microwave. Additionally, she emphasises the importance of staying hydrated by grabbing a large bottle of water alongside her meal.

Although her shopping at Tesco may cost slightly more than a standard meal deal, Hawys points out that she only consumes half the rice and chicken, making it more cost-effective and filling.
