Cardiff man in hospital as 2 are arrested after major incident in pub

A man was taken to hospital with very serious injuries

Police are still investigating an alleged assault as A man is still in hospital with serious injuries sustained at a pub in St Mellons on Friday.
South Wales Police have confirmed that two men have been arrested and are in police custody (aged 32 and 33) after officers were called to the incident at around 11.20pm at Melrose Inn in Cardiff.

A spokesperson made a statement on behalf of the pub saying that they will remain closed to the public while they assist the police with their investigation.
