Jade Goody’s deathbed wish for sons was ‘denied’ and it ‘would have broken her’

Jade Goody’s dying wish for her sons to be privately educated was never fulfilled, which her widower, Jack Tweed, claims would have devastated her. Jack disclosed that a significant portion of Jade’s earnings may have been lost to tax liabilities. Speaking to The Sun, Jack expressed his confusion and sorrow over the situation, stating, “It would have broken Jade if she’d known. She’d be devastated. I’ve never been able to get my head around it – the person’s dead.”

Jade Goody, a former reality star, passed away from cervical cancer on 22 March 2009. Before her untimely death, she had secured lucrative media deals with the intention of providing her sons, Bobby and Freddy, with a top-tier education. However, by 2011, most of Jade’s wealth had disappeared, with debts amounting to £1.8m, largely due to her outstanding income tax bills from the four years before she died.

Reflecting on Jade’s financial struggles, Jack Tweed shared that he did not take any money from her, even when she wanted to ensure his well-being by trying to buy him a flat while she was in the hospital. Despite the challenges, Jack is now looking forward to becoming a father soon with his long-term partner, Ellis Sargeant, who is expecting their child. Jack expressed his excitement about this new chapter in his life and his acceptance of moving on from past guilt.

As Jack prepares for fatherhood, he remembers Jade fondly and believes she would want him to find happiness and peace. Their love story continues to inspire many, and Jack’s journey serves as a testament to resilience and the ability to embrace joy amidst adversity.
