Concern for missing man whose Audi was found near Welsh beach

An appeal has been launched by the police for a missing man whose car was found near a North Wales beach last night. Andrew’s white Audi was discovered close to Barmouth beach, Gwynedd. The public is being asked to assist in locating Andrew and report any sightings before his disappearance on Saturday night. The force also issued a second appeal concerning another missing man with connections to the area, reports North Wales Live.

In an appeal, North Wales Police said: “Concern is growing for the welfare of Andrew whose white Audi has been located close to Barmouth beach on the evening of Saturday 21st September. Andrew is 5’9 tall and stocky build he was last wearing grey jogging trousers and a black hoody. “We are seeking any information on Andrew’s current whereabouts or any sightings of him prior to his disappearance. Please contact the control room quoting I-trace 48148 on 101, via the NWP live chat or via the online reporting system found on the NWP home page or the links below.”

Regarding the second appeal, the force said: “Police have concerns for the safety of a missing male Jonathon 55 years. Jon lives away from the area but is familiar with the locations of Llanbedr and Shell Island where he has been spending time recently.” “Jon is described as medium build and around 5ft 10 inches 178 cm tall. It is currently unknown what he was last wearing. We are seeking any sightings of Jon or information regarding his welfare.
